The Division of Local Services invites new municipal finance officials to a finance forum on May 31 in Worcester.
Recently elected or appointed municipal finance officials will get an overview of municipal government, the budget process, the tax recapitulation process, and reserve and debt policies.
The forum will be held at the Hogan Center at the College of the Holy Cross, 1 College St., 8:15 a.m.-3:30 p.m. The $50 registration fee includes continental breakfast, a deli luncheon and seminar materials.
The registration deadline is May 22.
